January 13 – March 14
ISU Community School of the Arts, Institute for Community Sustainability and the City of Terre Haute presented “Wellness at City Hall: a Digital Photography Exhibition”. Opening Reception: January 17, 5:00 –
6:30 p.m. with a presentation by Mayor Bennett at 5:15 p.m. Featuring photographs by CSA participants: Louise Anderson, Pat Breault, Bess Enright, Cheryl Kremer, Lata Ganatra, Donna Gustafson, Debbie Hadley, Barb Mickelson, Ceil Seprodi and Lisa Stein.

WTIU filming of “African Drumming for Children” to be aired April, 2014.

March 3-28
Aging Across America Photography Exhibit”, HMSU Gallery, with an opening reception and lecture on March 27, by artist, Jeffrey Levine. Also on exhibit, work from community photo exhibition, “Aging in the Wabash Valley”.

March 4
Mid-semester Musical, featuring the performances of 20 CSA music students. Filmed by WTIU, to be aired April, 2014.

March 6-8
CSA designed a table for “Tablescapes”, Arts Illiana’s annual fundraiser.

March 17-June 20
ISU Community School of the Arts and Arts Illiana presented an exhibition at Corporate Square, featuring the work of our adult photography participants.

March 19
“African Drumming for Adults” will be performing at the Wyndmoor Retirement Community at 6:30 p.m.

March 26
“African Drumming for Children” will be performing at the Center for Global Engagement’s International Students’ Awards Reception at 5:30 p.m.

April 4
The Indiana State University and Community School of the Arts “Flute Choir” performed on First Friday at the Swope Art Museum at 6:30 p.m.

April 5 
African Drumming for Adults performed at the ISU African Global Night.

April 7 – June 27
City Hall art exhibition featured the work of children, ages 5-11, enrolled in visual art classes. Reception held on April 14 at 6:00 p.m. with recognition awards by Mayor Bennett.

Max Ehrmann Poetry Awards Ceremony at Rooney Library, Saint-Mary-of-the Woods College.

Final Music Recital for students 18 years of age and younger, in the Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts’ Recital Hall at 6:30 p.m.

“Music For All” and “Fusion Theater” students performed at the Boys and Girls Club at 5:00 p.m., in conjunction with ISU’s Community Semester.

Provided a free adult painting workshop, instructed by Petra Nyendick and Soulaf Abas, to DSI Services, a501-C-3 not-for-profit organization that provides services for adults and children with mental, physical, and emotional disabilities.

The CSA is presenting performances by CSA music students in the recital hall in the Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts. Thursday, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 2:30 - 3:00 p.m. and 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.

The CSA is participating in Tree Fest, Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra's fundraiser. The CSA decorated a tree to be displayed at the Indiana Theater. Sponsored by ISU's Center for Community Engagement.

Children's Art Exhibition at the Community Theater of Terre Haute for the production of "Babes in Toyland". On display was art work by kids in the "Saturday Art Day for Children" and "Squiggles and Doodles for Pre-Schoolers" classes.

Open house and opening reception for adults participating in "Metal Sculpture" and "Digital Photography" and children participating in "Saturday Art Day." Special performance by CSA's "Terre Haute Guitar Club." Held in the Turman Art Gallery, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
