Rock Band! provides a fun and educational opportunity for teens at any experience level to explore ensemble playing with an emphasis placed on rock music. In Rock Band!, students will develop critical ensemble playing and rehearsal skills by learning to read lead sheets, improvising on their instrument, and developing music reading skills. Students will explore different musical qualities of various rock styles while
playing one or more of five traditional rock instruments: guitar, drums, bass, keyboards or voice. This course is designed to be hands-on, fun, and educational by challenging students to learn, analyze, and perform popular rock songs. Maximum enrollment is 8; CSA will accept registration on a first-come, first-served basis.

Through a collaboration with The Blues at the Crossroads Festival and Indiana State University’s Community Engagement, full scholarships are available to students that are on free- or reduced-lunch plans at school. Scholarships provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call (812) 237-2528 for details.
